Real Estate Challenge

Building the Future of Real Estate

The Real Estate Challenge invites undergraduate and graduate level student teams to act as individual development companies by creating plans for a significant site across the Midwest. The teams, along with their advisors, determine what should be built and provide a full analysis explaining their plan as well as the effects it would have on the community. The winning plan is the most economically viable and most complementary to the unique uses of the surrounding site.

Registration opens in October, with the site announced in February. Final presentations take place in Chicago in the Spring. Each team is judged by a panel of industry experts, with the winning universities receive a $7,500 scholarship.
