The Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation is committed to funding life-saving gastrointestinal (GI) cancer research and life-changing real estate education.
In partnership with the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, we fund breakthrough gastrointestinal (GI) cancer research. Together, we aim to advance cancer medicine and increase survivorship by fighting cancers of the esophagus, liver, pancreas, stomach, intestines, gallbladder, colon, and rectum

Our Junior Board is comprised of kids ages 6-18 and focuses on raising money for GI cancers and an awareness for charity, all while having fun.
Harold Eisenberg inspired many in his life, both personally and professionally. His devotion to his family and his work was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. He was a loving husband to Sheila and a dedicated father to Peter, Scott and Lesley. As a leader in real estate, he believed in sharing his knowledge and experience to enrich and empower students.
In early 1999, Hal passed away suddenly from liver and pancreatic cancers. Shortly after, his friends and family established the Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation to fight the cancers that took his life and continue his legacy as a mentor, leader, and educator in the commercial real estate industry.
We continue to honor Hal, while recognizing the thousands of volunteers, students, mentors and staff that have supported the Foundation.
