Scholarship Recipients

EisenbergScholarshipPhotoEach year the Foundation recognizes outstanding real estate students at The University of Illinois with a tuition scholarship. To date, more than $180,000 has been awarded in recognition of their academic performance, commitment to service, and dedication the the field of commercial real estate. In addition, the Foundation awards an annual scholarship to an ICSC School for Professional Development to an aspiring real estate professional.

The recipients of the 2011 UIUC Scholarship award were Kristina Johnson and Connor Matthews. In 2010, the winners were Eddie Lee and Dorothy Roczkowski.

 

The recipients of the 2011 ICSC Scholarship was Ryan Holzhauer. In 2010, the scholarship was awarded to Kevin Thaxton.

The recipient of the 2007 Eisenberg Foundation UIUC Scholarship Award is senior Jhared Marshall of Chicago. Jhared looks forward to a career involving urban redevelopment when he returns to Chicago upon graduation in May, 2008.

The Foundation is also pleased to announce the awarding of its annual scholarship to an ICSC School for Professional Development to aspiring real estate professional Bridget Geiss of Davis Street Land Co.
The fifth annual scholarship was awarded at the October 1, 2003 Foundation Dinner to Lindsay Bernais. Lindsay has recently accepted a job with LaSalle Bank. We look forward to her continued success.

The fourth annual scholarship was awarded at the October 10th, 2002 Foundation Dinner to David Arreola, a finance major at the University of Illinois concentrating on real estate.

The third annual scholarship was awarded at the October 29th, 2001 Foundation Dinner to David Brodsky, a finance major at the University of Illinois concentrating on real estate and investments.

The second annual scholarship was awarded at the October 10, 2000 Dinner to Michael Suchy. He wrote the Foundation expressing his appreciation saying, “I know the Foundation will continue to impact countless lives through the Scholarship, its Mentor Program, and its contributions to cancer research.”

The first annual scholarship was awarded at the September 13, 1999 Foundation Dinner to Mark Zimmerman.
